Comic-Con Booths

I’ve done a lot of set design over the years, from the WCCO News set in Minneapolis (back in the early 90’s!), to Comic-Con Booths. These days I use Maya as my main tool, everything is built to scale- then output as images for approval and ultimately as printed plans – (based on the 3D models) that can then be used for real-world fabrication.

This was a booth I designed with a Speed Racer theme for the company “Allegory”

In celebration of 50 years of James Bond, I was hired to design this booth. There are a few variations depicted here- these reflect changes made based on feedback from the client.

Initially, I was hired to modify an existing Fox/Avatar Booth- I have actually re-designed the Fox Booth on 3 different occasions…. here are some works in progress.
